Vintage Creem
Vintage Cream is the color of the Telecaster I purchased from my good friend and collaborator Mehdi Zannad (Fugu, The Last Detail, April March) this was the first song I used it on. For the lyrics & music, I had in mind Shuggie Otis’ Strawberry Letter 23, The Jackson 5’s I Want You Back  , but I wanted to update the story and picture someone who’s tired of receiving unsolicited messages from an ex. « Boom Shaka Boom » is the sound of phone notifications .
