« For some reason when I started to work on this song, I had in mind Bran Van 3000 hit song Drinking in L.A! I ditched the drinking and wrote about a long-distance relationship: the narrator is driving a shitty car to Los Angeles in the hope to see their partner and patch things up. We don’t know how the story ends… Musically, we went full Drum & Bass on this one, it seemed a nice contrast with the soft mellotron theme»
